Please be advised that the position you are applying for is a very demanding, highly rewarding, volunteer position requiring a minimum of 10-15 hours of work per week. As such, it requires the highest degree of commitment and dedication, and at the same time it provides no payment outside of housing. Because of this arrangement, it is very important that you count the cost carefully before you apply.
Ask yourself, “Can I afford the time and effort that a resident internship will require while continuing to handle all my other responsibilities?” As you know, there are many places to serve at Immanuel. If you cannot fully give yourself to this particular ministry, we completely understand and support you. In fact, we want to encourage you to please the Lord by not taking on more than you are able. If however, the Lord has given you the flexibility in your current schedule with which you can serve Immanuel, we welcome your application!
