CBC Greeter Ministry Responsibilities Overview

Greeters serve on a monthly rotation
Before the Sunday 10am service we have greeters: outside, in the lobby, and near doors to the sanctuary
Arrive at your post 15 minutes before service or as soon as Life Group finishes
Outdoor Greeters: Greet everyone as they come in.  Introduce yourself to first time visitors and try to make everyone feel welcome.
Lobby Greeters: Main focus is on first time visitors.  If possible, get new visitor names and give names to the pastor or at least point them out to the pastor.  Offer any assistance; such as, directing them to the nursery if they have children and/or showing them to the kids classrooms.
Sanctuary Door Greeters (Cancelled during Covid): Main focus is handing out annoucements.  Most members gets the annoucements electronically but offer copies to all visitors.  Close doors at 10am and assist lobby greeters as needed.
Post-Service Outdoor Greeters: After the 10am service ends, thank people for attending.
If you are not able to serve anytime during your scheduled month, let the Greeter Director know as soon as possible or find your own replacement.
